CMH Lexus Gateway was at the prestigious MISA Womens Forum Business breakfast on Friday 19th August at the Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga, an event held to honour woman in the work place.
Representing the team was sales executive Lornette Shabally, who, with all the other ladies, was treated to an exclusive breakfast.
MISA (Motors Industry Staff Association) is a registered trade union in the South African retail motor sector focusing on resolving problems and providing meaningful benefits to its members. MISA protects and advances its members by offering value for money and service of the highest order.
The MISA Womens Forum is part of this union and focuses on women in the work place. It is their aim to empower females with knowledge which will assist them to stand up for their rights. It aims to raise gender awareness and increase the understanding of gender equality issues in the world of work. It also aims to increase women’s economic and financial independence and decision making, to address education and training, to raise funds for community projects and to assist women to live above the expectations.
